“In today’s competitive and ever dynamic housing market, two issues are critical in selling a home: Price and Showability. The first issue, price, requires a qualified Realtor to research current market conditions, analyze data and provide an appropriate list price. The second issue, showability, is perhaps even more critical when one has multiple homes in a neighborhood – and all are price comparably.
Showability refers to the “wow factor” buyers experience when entering a home. Is it clean, well decorated, up to date, color appropriate, and inviting for buyers? Having a home that shows well is the difference between being on the market for 2 weeks vs 6 months. In a competitive market, a home that shows well is much more likely to sell quickly and sell for closer to asking price, if priced correctly, than a home that is dated or doesn’t make an instant impression on a potential buyer. Unless my clients’ homes are in model home condition, I recommend staging to all of my sellers. Their investment in staging is worth the money and time in the end, always helps their home sell quicker and for a higher price.

She strikes the balance between being able to offer a wide variety of services to match any budget and, more importantly, she is able to do much of the work herself (floral arrangements, painting, refinishing furniture, sewing, etc), which ultimately provides a more personal touch and saves my clients money.
