How We Serve You
Home Staging:
Home staging is more important than ever before. It helps establish positive first impressions both online, usually the initial way prospective buyers see your home, and in-person. A furnished home removes the “desperate-to-sell” impression that a vacant home conveys and helps the potential buyer envision how to use the space. Staging tells the story of a home. It serves as a point of reference for the buyer to envision how she would use the space while helping her to imagine how her life could look in that space. Staged homes tend to attract top dollar while spending less time on the market than un-staged homes. Staging is about putting your home’s best self forward so that you can move forward with your life.
Home Redesign:
Whether you want a fresh start in a long-time residence or you are setting up a new home, Nest can help you create the space you’ve always wanted. Whether that entails a complete makeover or simply rearranging your current furniture, Nest will guide you towards your home vision within your budget while utilizing your personal style. Even if you don’t know what your style is, we’ll help you narrow your likes and dislikes until you find the right design fit.
Downsizing:
If you are transitioning from a larger home to a smaller one, Nest helps you place those special, heirloom and investment pieces in your new home so that they work for rather than against the smaller space. We even help you sell unwanted items via consignment store or staging warehouse – we’ll manage all aspects of the consignment process from pick up to pricing.
Individual Consultations
How Staging/Redesign Works:
Nest meets with you at the property to discuss the scope of the project. Together we determine the number of rooms to be staged or designed and whether the work will be vignette-based or a complete design. Nest then develops a proposal based on your budget, and, after you have agreed to the terms, we get to work.
For staging, Nest pulls the needed items from a staging warehouse which has everything from Baby Grands to silverware. Next, the pieces are delivered by the warehouse and then arranged by Nest. We take photos of the finished product and remain in constant contact with the realtor throughout the selling process. We make edits as necessary based on the realtor’s feedback. Nest is even available to attend open houses and discuss home design with potential buyers – we’ll do whatever it takes to help you sell your home.
Permanent home redesigns are based on the individual client’s needs; no two redesigns are alike.
